The Firm

TIMUR DESIGNS is an established architecture consultancy firm formed in 1991 by Yong Ai Loon, giving credence to personal and direct services to the clients. In 1995, Chan Wai Kin joined the practice as a partner.

We pride ourselves in a collaborative approach with our clients in order to achieve well-aligned architectural design with individual expectations, that encompass macro scale design right down to detailed interior finishing.

In 2023, TIMUR DESIGNS Studio Pte Ltd was incorporated to replace TIMUR DESIGNS LLP, with Jufri Yusoff joining the firm as a director, in our continued effort to chart the next step for the practice, forging ahead.

Associating with the National University of Singapore’s Department of Architecture, Wai Kin has been accomplishing himself as a part-time tutor, as the practice embarks on a continuous engagement with the future generation of architects, occasionally taking in aspirant undergraduates as part of the school’s internship programme.
